Easter Decorations

I need Spring to come...

and stay.

Enough with this snow flurries and ear muffs in April crap.

I want to eat on the deck every night, water the garden, and play at the park.

I want to wear sun dresses and flip flops everyday, grill every night, and eat lots of ice cream, frozen yogurt and popsicles.

In an effort to convince myself that Spring was really hiding around here somewhere,
I brightened up the house with our traditional Spring and Easter decorations last weekend.

I love tassels.

I wish I had them all over my house.
Doesn't he just look like he is eagerly anticipating something fabulous perched up there?!

Cake stands, my white pitcher, a few Easter eggs stashed here and there
...my vintage Pepsi crate....all of these things just make me so happy.

This little guy comes out every year to say hello.
Something about porcelain pill boxes seem so whimsical to me.

And naturally I need many yellow flowers to greet me as I walk into a room.
So refreshing.

Mixing up the mantle with each changing season just makes my heart content and me gitty.
It's the little things in life...isn't it?

I have a love affair with mint julep glasses.

They are just so elegant and classy to me.

Wasn't this egg just destined to peek out of mint julep glass atop a mantle?!

Can't get enough of these eggs tucked about...
just waiting to be noticed.

And these little guys will always have a special place in my heart...

a gift from my mom to always remind me to enjoy the
fun parts of life.
