The Release

June 18th, 2004...

I married my best friend in a small church in
Atchison, Kansas...

The town where we met and fell in love.

We celebrated afterward in a rustic country barn setting...

with many red and yellow roses,
red and white gingham ribbon, strawberry and lemon accents,
and sunflowers!

6 years later...
we returned with 2 of the cutest kiddos in tow
to enjoy a family style down-home meal in the same rustic country barn setting...

What a magnificent way to return!

All Aboard!

Andy & AJ squeezed in some quality father & son time
on a one day adventure to Belton, Missouri for a train tride.

For $8.50 you could ride on a passenger coach...
but for more than triple that...
you could actually drive the 1950's diesel locomotive with the engineer...
complete with getting to blow the whistle and ring the bell.

Guess which one they opted for.

So, when you ask AJ what he did on vacation...

and he says he drove a train...
the kid is not kidding.

Back To Reality

2,178 miles ...

and

many hours playing in the sun later ...

We are back home.
Back to reality.
