Magic Jelly Beans

I was really excited to do this little Easter project with my kiddos this year
from See Jane Blog...

where the night before Easter, you plant these magic jelly beans....
And wake up the next day to be surprised with this colorful treat:
Until Girlfriend ate some Lupine flower seeds last weekend...

and spent half a day in the hospital!

Now...
I am not so sure I should do anything that would further confuse her understanding of
what we plant in the ground...and what we eat.

FYI: Although there may not be any warnings on the package
Apparently Lupine seeds are extremely toxic to small children.

Girlfriend thought the entire experience was great really...
she got...
a fast ride to the hospital...
a big bed that went up and down when she pushed these cool buttons...
a Sky Ridge teddy bear...
popsicles...
people waiting on her hand and foot...

and her favorite part was the new bracelet they put on her arm...

Needless to say, the lupine seeds have been hidden...
lupines will forever be known as Girlfriend's $100 flowers...
and she may be getting this book in her Easter basket this year...

Oh no!! I am glad she is ok!! The magic jelly bean idea is cute, but I might pass it up too if I was you. So, when will you move back to KS??? I would love to craft with you! I was able to play around on mom's sewing machine this weekend and had a blast! I will be getting my own in the next few months. Love ya, Jade
